A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Offer Project Manager, you will coordinate and lead all activities from the initial project concept to contract signing and handover to execution. You will be responsible for developing competitive and technically sound offers, managing cross-functional project teams, and ensuring that customer expectations, cost targets, and quality standards are met. In addition, you will actively contribute to sales development and long-term customer relationship building.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Identify sales opportunities, contribute to market intelligence activities, and support the sales team in customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead the offer preparation process, including concept design, scheduling, and cost estimation, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with customer requirements.
  • Support negotiations and collaborate with legal and commercial teams to define contract terms and achieve target pricing.
  • Coordinate all internal and external stakeholders — engineering, procurement, legal, and project execution — to ensure smooth project development and risk management.
  • Assess risks and opportunities, develop alternative concepts, and drive the optimization of technical and financial solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety rules, and management system requirements throughout the offer phase.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports in SalesForce and internal management systems.
  • Actively build and strengthen partnerships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across the organization.

What You Bring

  • A technical education at university, university of applied sciences, or HTL level (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; German language is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the design, calculation, and layout of hydropower plants is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including on short notice.
  • Proven ability to prepare, coordinate, and lead complex offer processes.
  • Broad understanding of products, technologies, and internal workflows.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a confident and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to evaluate risks and opportunities and translate findings into actionable measures.
  • Constructive mindset with the ability to give and receive feedback and identify effective solutions.
  • Solid project management experience, preferably in industrial or plant engineering.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Sound commercial awareness and, ideally, sales experience in hydropower or related industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • A structured, analytical, and economically driven approach to problem-solving.
