A Snapshot of Your Day

You will assist with the interpretation of site-specific QA requirements, verify QA plan implementation, and evaluate effectiveness through audits and assessments related to Voith Hydro sites. You will be responsible for quality-related site activities, tests, and the inclusion of appropriate inspections and their acceptance criteria into project documentation, which will be deployed into the Supply Chain.

 

How You'll Make an Impact

•   Support the development of site-specific Quality strategies, carry out a risk assessment and take measures 
•    Review customers specifications and site-specific Quality Plans 
•    Support site in critical processes (e.g.: welding, NDT, corrosion protection, 3D-measurements, site machining, erection)

•    Support in key project-related meetings and tasks (e.g.: design reviews, site quality meetings or test plan creation).
•    Ensure quality assurance and quality management in the field service by performing audits, A3s, lessons learned and continuous improvement 
•    Support, review, and release the site-specific Quality Data book

•    Manage inspections and documentation in IT system
•    Support field service-related quality tasks remotely or on site.

 

What You Bring

•    Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, materials) or further education as engineering technician. 
•    Relevant work experience in quality engineering or related fields
•    Knowledge in processing technologies (e.g. casting, forgings, machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, painting, or relevant processing technologies)

•    Successfully qualification in auditing (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 19011, VDA 6.3) is preferred 
•    Qualifications in dimensional, NDT and electrical testing is desirable
•    Knowledge in the field of Laser Tracker / 3D measurement is a plus

•    Knowledge in using IT-tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS Office, database tracking programs
•    Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
•    Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required (additional languages are an advantage)

•    Experience and willingness to work and cooperate in cross-functional teams
•    Willingness for business trips (up to 80% of time).
