For the Voith Hydro, Site Planning & Technical support department, we are looking for:

Site Tooling Coordinator  
Brossard, QC


The incumbent is responsible for managing the Montérégie external warehouse (30,000 sq. ft), our local, Brossard Offices warehouse (8,000 sq. ft) as well as those located at work sites.  More specifically, duties consist of:


  • Establishing warehouse health and safety requirements and ensuring they are implemented;
  • Receiving, preparing and expediting orders and work site material in accordance with 5S standard;
  • Inspecting, maintaining and managing the inventory of tools, safety materials, supplies and equipment for the work site and office;
  • Planning for metering device certifications, etc.:
  • Offering support to work site teams through the purchasing of material, site mobilization and demobilization;
  • Managing warehouse personnel as needed;
  • Contributing to ongoing tooling management improvement and optimization in accordance with 5S standard; and
  • Any other duties related to warehouse inspection, maintenance and upkeep.


At a later date, the incumbent may also be assigned to a work site for a temporary position that will vary based on the candidate’s skills and the site’s requirements (optional):


  • Participating in quality control: drafting documents and implementing inspections (installation, welding, certification, etc.);
  • Planning and supervising the work of subcontractors (plumbing, electricity, painting, etc.), reporting on the work performed and documenting extras; and/or
  • Participating in implementing the generating unit works performed by our labor force: technical analysis, purchasing procedure, work planning, budget follow-up, etc.


Desired Profile


  • High School Diploma (SSD) or College Engineering Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical) (DCS).
  • Relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of safety rules and operator training.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with other team members, suppliers and customers.
  • Good mastery of Microsoft Office software and Internet.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Regular travel to Brossard (~25%) with occasional trips to worksites throughout Canada (~10-20%).
