We are looking for a dedicated student in the field of engineering or similar to support us in the structural design and layout of the steel structure of our paper machine hood.
Your tasks
- Support us in the structural design and layout of hood's steel.
- Be responsible for analyzing and applying the relevant standards and guidelines for the design and dimensioning.
- You will also create space models and technical drawings as well as documentation.
- Your tasks will also include carrying out calculations and simulations (deflection) based on the load on the hood.
- Apply your theoretical knowledge from your studies in practice.
- You will also take part in project meetings and work together with various departments.
Your profile
- You are an enrolled student in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, design engineering or similar.
- You have a good knowledge of design, steel construction or technical mechanics and materials engineering as well as basic knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines.
- You also have experience with CAD software and technical drawing; knowledge of FEM analyses is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of German or English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Personally, you impress with your independent and structured way of working and your high willingness to learn.
- Your profile is rounded off by your ability to work in a team, your strong communication skills and your willingness to occasionally travel for up to one week.
