Service and repair rollers used in paper industrial machines. Applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, take apart, categorize, and store components. Analyze and suggest plans to repair or replace worn or broken parts.

2nd shift



  • Service and repair rollers used in paper industrial machines
  • Must be able to show competence in the safe rigging of heavy loads with an overhead crane
  • Reading and interpreting technical assembly drawings or sketches
  • Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding and grinding
  • Assist machinery maintenance as needed to help make sure the plant and all machines operate at peak efficiency
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job
  • Clean up at the end of shift to make sure your job site remains well-organized and free of unnecessary clutter



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Trade school diploma in related field
  • Other mechanical backgrounds such as diesel or automotive will be considered


Physical Demands

Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
