Summary
The VOITH location in Austell GA, provides service to rollers (rolls) used in the production of paper. We are mechanical shop that repairs, restores, refurbishes and provides Engineering upgrades to such rolls. The Engineering Intern assists in planning, researching, developing and implementing solutions for the shop floor or engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Document Control:
- Update the ERP system with Labor Reports and Shipping and Receiving information
- Weekly updates for projects scheduling on ERP system
- Ensure Finished Projects documentation is complete, accurate and stored
- Update B2B customer portal
- Update and maintain communication boards
- Order material, consumables and components
- Assist with prepping meetings information and presentations
- Send parcel and freight packages through UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Greet and assist visitors Checking in and with PPE requirements
- Answer phones and forward call as necessary
- Administrative / Financial support tasks:

- Create reports and follow up on Account Receivables open issues
- Support the Account Payables by confirming material reception and support GL coding
- Create invoices on job completion
- Update daily labor reports
- Miscellaneous
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience working in an administrative role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to independently manage multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Entry level finance or Accounting is a plus
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms
