GENERAL SUMMARY
The NA Digital Innovation Leader will define our Papermaking 4.0 strategy with Business Leaders and the Digital Team to reach project execution and sales goals.This position will be responsible for Management of our Digital opportunity pipeline and implementation of digital solutions by guiding Regional Key Accounts on the Digital transformation path and management of overall Customer experience on Digital Projects specific to the Pulp and Paper Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide feedback to the Voith Global Product Managers, BTG Global Solution Teams and R&D organizations on the needs of the market to develop the most attractive and strategic value-added papermaking solutions. Work with the Business Directors, Digital Team and other members of the senior leadership team as needed to reach go/no go decisions.
- Liaise with key Voith and BTG stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy and solutions for pulp and paper customers. Will have an influential and important seat at the table to develop and adjust strategy in conjunction with the senior leadership team.
- Lead as the Digital Entreprenuer in the Region by collaboration with the Digital Team and Regional Sales and Applications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the paper market including IIoT opportunities to assist with the development of strategy and Papermaking 4.0. Must be aligned with the overall strategy of moving towards Papermaking 4.0 with the common portfolio. The market intelligence will be done in collaboration with the dedicated sales and applications teams.
- Propose to the steering committee any changes in organization or startegy. Communicate Voice of the Customer feedback, market expectations, required resources, commercialization and after launch support.
- Implement efficient training programs to the sales/applications forces for them to be as independent as possible for future implementations of launched papermaking solutions.
- Deliver effective professional presentations internally and externally.
- Responsible for own personal safety, the safety of the team and those around you.
- Work in accordance with and enforce compliance with all Voith and BTG policies (ex: Safety, Code of Ethics, Commercial Policy, Security Policy and Export Compliance) to maintain company reputation and image.

Required Education/Experience
- Engineering degreee related to Paper industry.
- 5+ years experience in Pulp or Paper Manufacturing.
- Paper process Automation experience preferred.
