Job Summary:
The Repairer/Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to the facility and its equipment.



•    Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.
•    Inspects manufacturing/ industrial equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
•    General maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipment including forklifts, hoists and cranes, and fabrication equipment. 
•    Consults blueprints or building plans to identify best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.
•    Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, HVAC, systems continue operating properly.
•    Work with outside contractors on a routine basis on projects and maintenance programs. 
•    Obtains services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.
•    Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
•    Maintain records for all performed maintenance activities.
•    Execute the completion of all performed maintenance work orders.
•    Assist in the installation and/or repair of new equipment and machines.
•    Work as needed during emergencies and plant shut downs to provide necessary maintenance services.

•    Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for machine maintenance, general maintenance, mechanical and electrical work within the plant facility.


Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
•    Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
•    Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
•    Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
•    Excellent time management skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Safety oriented.
•    An understanding and drive for continuous improvement. 

Education and Experience:
•    High school diploma or equivalent required.
•    3 years of related experience. 
•    Competency with Microsoft Office
•    Experience with CNC and machine tools. (preferred)
•    CMMS experience (preferred)

•    CNC/PLC troubleshooting (preferred)


Physical Requirements: 
•    Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
•    Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
•    Must be able 50 pounds at a time.
