Position Summary

 

The TRM Manager is responsible for managing our TRM or all roll business under contract in North America. This includes acting as the primary liaison for all rolls business under contract. The role also supports sales, operations, and corporate accounts with executing these contracts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain list of contracts with start and expiration dates.
  • Maintaining cover calculator pricing.
  • Maintain PowerApps as related to Voith cover workflow system.
  • Make sure Voith and customer are following the agreements.
  • Active role in building the roll contracts and setting final pricing.
  • Assist sales with promoting and implementing new agreements.
  • Set the quote prices on all covers for NA.
  • Provide routine MRS pricing recommendations to the RMT.
  • Coaching sales teams on managing TRMs once they are signed.
  • Travel ~50% of the time.

 

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrate strong communication, sales, and customer service skills while building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analyze complex data and solve problems through critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, JDE, and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis.

 

Education & Experience

  • 3–5 years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of paper machine rolls and papermaking principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred; 2 years of higher education is a plus.
  • Familiarity with paper mill safety and etiquette.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, and stand.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) required in designated areas.
