About the Position

The Order Manager is responsible for overseeing the order management process to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of project schedules. This role coordinates internal and external resources, maintains strong relationships with stakeholders, and serves as the single point of contact for internal customers from order entry through completion.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning of internal and third-party resources to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, aligning with production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Define project and order priorities, balancing customer needs, inventory availability, and resource constraints to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, engineering, production, and logistics teams, to ensure smooth communication and alignment on order requirements.
  • Monitor and track order performance against key metrics, proactively identifying risks or delays and implementing corrective actions to ensure goals are met.
  • Oversee large shipments, including logistics coordination, carrier management, and tracking, ensuring orders reach customers on time and in full.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers throughout the order lifecycle, from entry to completion, providing updates and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within order management processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a key SAP user, managing order data entry, reporting, and system updates to maintain accuracy and efficiency across all order-related activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to anticipate and address potential order bottlenecks, ensuring proactive solutions and effective communication.
  • Support inventory management by coordinating spare parts availability, monitoring stock levels, and initiating procurement as required

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships across multiple departments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order management and documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in order management, supply chain, or project coordination is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization is a plus.
