Intern - Data Quality

Summary: The Data Quality Intern will support the enhancement of Voith’s master data quality. This position will help determine the root cause of issues in our business processes related to data. They will also work to extract material master data, analyze, and remediate data sets that do not conform to established data rules.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Material Master Group, Technical Support and Customer Service to remediate master data.

• Perform data profiling to assess status of master data and how it conforms to data quality rules.

• Occasionally take ownership of data projects that will enhance the experience for both Voith and our customers.

• Use of computers utilizing Windows based programs and utilize the SAP ERP system and the legacy AS400 BPCS system for everyday work requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Current student pursuing a degree in Engineering preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work on a computer and phone.

• Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
