Key tasks of the Position

Additional responsibilities

  • Responsible for and grow service business in Voith installed base (Hydro, Paper, Turbo) North America, develop and implement service concepts and increase footprint
  • Run the service organization as a profit center with the focus to grow profitable.
  • Build up and lead service team with the capability of automation services for all industries Voith is active in.
  • Continuously extend capabilities of the service team, to audit, commission, startup, maintain and troubleshoot Voith automation products and equipment of our target markets.
  • Implement and lead excellent service execution processes, supervise service order management
  • Improve cost efficiency and minimize risk costs in close co-operation with other Business Lines and Group Divisions.
  • Foster close collaboration and standardization btw. all service organizations of all group divisisions


  • Support & coordinate (take part in screening) sales project generation with scope specification and pricing of service agreements (SLA for long term commitments, on-site commitments and maintenance agreements)
  • Provide technical sales support including support to systematic market approach (installed base list, target projects & customers) to sales team




Employee Profile (Desired)

Professional Experience & Education                       

Specific  skills & Knowledge (Ex: Language, IT skills)               

  •  Minimum of B.S of an engineering discipline, MBA
  • A minimum of 10+ years experience in automation industry at least 3 service related roles
  • Leadership potential to manage team within complex environment


  • Engineering degree
  • Availability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Ability to independently develop our business and collaborate well within the Voith world.

Sales of executed service business.

Extend the very small automation service footprint and capabilities of Voith in North America. Run the service
