Sales Manager Tissue

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit and service current and potential customers in the assigned area;
  • Maintain and improve customer relationships;
  • Promote new products and services in the assigned area.  The FRS product portfolio includes forming fabrics, press felts, roll covers, doctor blades, mechanical roll services, on-site tissue cylinder services, diagnostics, audits;
  • Carry out "hands-on" machine surveys and provide well documented technical reports and  recommendations;
  • Technical troubleshooting at customers premises;
  • Liaising with Product Management, Design & Application and other team members to provide effective applications and solutions for our customers.
  • To be the main customer contact for all commercial aspects: Offers, negotiations, order and delivery process, payment (overdue) and ageing stock;
  • Conduct product presentations to customers or during exhibitions/seminars;
  •  Liaise together with international key account managers (EU & US);
  • Prepare monthly reporting; creating and updating the business plan for the area;
  • Provide competitor information to FRS management;
  • Investigate and facilitate customer complaints on the Company's behalf until satisfactory conclusion for both companies.

 

Person Specification

  • Completed technical studies and working experience in an engineering field and/or paper technology is highly valued
  • Experience in papermaking is valued
  • Experience in paper machine clothing and/or rolls is particularly desirable
  • A high degree of self-motivation
  • A proactive working ethic and a social networking desire in combination with a high degree of willingness to travel extensively within the UK
  • Working independence, responsibility awareness, a team player attitude and service orientation
  • Good MS Office knowledge, competence and confidence with the written and spoken English language.
  • A valid driving license
  • Location flexible. Home office required.
