Key responsibilities

  • Building and establishing new Global Key Account Function within Voith Turbo Industry
  • Leading a dedicated small team of Key Account Managers, representing the main strategic Voith Turbo Industry key account customers globally
  • Achieve profitable growth and fostering strong relationships to our existing customers and the ones we want to win
  • Acquire and build strong and good relationships to global key customers
  • Drive customer requirements management (primary clarification of requirements; agreement on specification) and support all interfaces of Voith Turbo with the global key customers
  • Coordinate global activities with the global key customers (contracts, export activities, technology transfer, platform development)
  • Coordinate strategic alignment of the global key customers product development planning with Voith Turbo product strategies
  • Lauch Voith Turbo products in new platforms / drivelines of the global key accounts
  • Initiate and coordinate product introduction projects and change management with global key customers
  • Contract negotiations, develop and implement pricing strategies (in alignment with PM & CFO)
  • Global key customers-specific trouble shooting
  • Coordinate of service activities / campaigns with global key customers service organizations
  • Monitoring of global Sales KPIs and implementation / coordination of global initiatives
  • Define global procedures and implementation of projects such as WebShops, Configurators or CRM
  • Support Product positioning at global key customers
  • Sales promotion (market argumentation, presentations, brochures, etc.) and Sales Tools (share point, customer specific references)
  • Support and coordinate press relations / public relations / trade fair activities


Specific Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor´s/Master´s degree or a comparable education
  • Experience in dealing with global B2B customers including sales, problem resolution, negotiation skills and strategic relationship building
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both locally and globally (~50%)
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, additional language skills are a plus
  • Strategic thinking, well-structured personality with drive
  • Digital capabilities and experience are an advantage
  • Finally, your personal profile includes a strong business acumen, strong ability for networking and leadership, distinct communication and negotiation skills
