Responsibilities:

External:

  • Understand and advocate customer expectations
    • in contract
    • beyond contract
    • create consensus in case of conflict
  • Start in OTO / stay to the end
  • Maintain trust based customer relationship
  • Drive life-cycle handover
  • Lead communication with customer and respond to inquiries and feedback
  • Trigger proactive communication and aim for clarification in case of conflicts
  • Direct claim management

Internal:

  • Have strategic view
  • Provide general, proactive coordination of full scope of the project including all contributions of involved parties in OTC
  • Understand and drive the setup of the project (budget, risk, targets)
    • Optimize budgets and schedule
    • Initiate required measures: evaluate chances, mitigate risks
  • Direct the development of schedule, e.g., buffer allocation by risk/chance
  • Forward looking, proactive management of the schedule in regular formats together with master scheduler, controlling and all involved functions
  • Understand, challenge, and orchestrate deviations
  • Maintain a professional Project Reporting

Requirements:

  • Critical thinking, solution oriented, business acumen, sense of urgency, lean thinking, striving for change, self-disciplined
  • Knowledge in paper-machine business highly beneficial
  • Experience in international project leading required preferably in plant business
  • International work/study experience is highly beneficial
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Mainstream ERP/reporting systems: knowledge of order-processing-systems (SAP), MRP and network scheduling, MS Office especially MS Project
  • Professional communication and explanation skills
  • Highly independent workstyle required
  • Readiness for national and international travels required
