To strengthen our team in Corporate Development & Sustainability, we are looking for a Vice President (m|w|d) / Senior Manager (m|w|d) - Mergers & Acquisitions at Voith Group. The M&A department is key to achieve the portfolio strategy: Shape the future of Voith by executing our portfolio strategy as a unique tech player in industrial engineering. You will be responsible for end-to-end management of complex and strategically important M&A projects at both the group and business unit level, ranging from Buy-side and Sell-side projects to Joint Ventures:

 

Your Contribution

  • Managing all aspects of transactions end-to-end, including coordinating all workstreams with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough business and financial analyses, as well as related documentation.
  • Identifying and analyzing targets, supporting deal sourcing, managing the pipeline, and tracking project success.
  • Coordinating the due diligence process.
  • Leading contract negotiations in close cooperation with the business and all involved departments (legal, compliance, tax, etc.).
  • Preparing materials and documentation to initiate and facilitate senior management decisions and approvals.
  • Presenting results to the management board.
  • Supporting the Post-Merger-Intergration (PMI-) processes.


Your Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in economics, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting. A technical or scientific focus is a plus but not a must.
  • Furthermore you have a minimum of six years of experience leading M&A projects, either in the corporate finance department of an audit company, in corporate M&A, or at an investment bank.
  • You feel comfortable working in an environment with multiple interests, where you manage various stakeholders and navigate projects under urgent and sensitive circumstances.
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead them to completion sets you apart
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, along with project management abilities, combined with entrepreneurial thinking and strong interpersonal skills, are your strengths.
  • Your confident demeanor, high teamwork ability, excellent English language skills, and good German language skills round off your profile.
